she founded Belle Basket,
when she was 21 years old.
HER PURPOSE
To give the classic gift baskets a new look, or rather a new style & bag. 😉 No more unnecessary use of plastic foil, useless straw and wicker baskets. Hello reusable, stylish, strong and handy jute Baskets! Emma wants to offer companies a solution to put together the perfect corporate gift tailored to their company’s size and budget. She also wants to attach importance to personalized Baskets so that everyone can enjoy food, regardless of allergies, intolerances or other food restrictions.

EMMA’S story:
Emma, a former difficult eater, had an unconventional relationship with food during her childhood. Despite growing up in a family that cherished culinary traditions, she viewed eating as a burdensome task, a mere obstacle to overcome. However, as she entered young adulthood, Emma’s perspective on food underwent a profound transformation. She began to perceive it as more than just a source of fuel for the body. Instead, she discovered that food could be a source of joy and pleasure, encompassing a realm far beyond the act of mere consumption.

Unfortunately, a few years later, Emma’s own body intervened and disrupted her newfound relationship with food. She received a diagnosis of severe lactose intolerance, a prevalent component in numerous food items. Everyday activities like dining out with friends or indulging in appetizers with snacks were no longer simple pleasures she could take for granted. Emma found herself starting from scratch, searching for alternative food options that could reignite her passion for gastronomy.
Motivated by these personal challenges, Emma felt compelled to share her story and convey an important message. Allergies and intolerances have become increasingly prevalent in modern society. Therefore, at the age of 21, Emma made the decision to establish Belle Basket, a venture aimed at making food products more appealing and accessible for individuals with dietary restrictions. The primary focus back then was to categorize allergens, facilitating the search for suitable products for everyone. In her view, food is much more than mere sustenance; it is a catalyst for fostering strong personal and social connections. It has the power to unite people, allowing them to savor and grow together. With the slogan “Because food is a gift,” Emma endeavors to emphasize this notion. She firmly believes that surprising someone with a delectable culinary present or indulging oneself is a truly gratifying experience.
Belle Basket has already gone through several changes and a professional focus shift since 2021 but for Emma, her goal is still to create Baskets that EVERYONE can enjoy.
The Baskets are still easy to adapt to the recipient’s dietary restrictions or preferences! You just have to ask.
