With a pretty pale yellow colour, this subtle wine with aromas of dried apricots, peach and quince has floral nuances. It is rich and round with a sweet finish of honey and beeswax.
This wine is made from Marsanne, a rare grape variety native to the Rhone Valley, which has been cultivated in the deep soils of the Aude Valley and the Hérault plain. The vines, with an average age of 10 years, benefit from a warm and very luminous climate with plenty of sunshine and relatively frequent rainfall.
Vinified in the classic manner of a white wine, it undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of around 15° to 17°C.
Served chilled (10°C), this Marsanne is excellent as an aperitif, with dishes in cream sauce, a lamb or chicken curry and seafood. Crispy and subtle white wine, which tastes great with fish and green vegetables!
